Dear Sims 3...

PLEASE Stop crashing. I would like to finish taking pictures for once without interruption.

I THOUGHT I fixed the issue by removing newly installed CC, but it wasn't a permanent fix. I was able to play longer than usual and took half the pictures. I just don't know anymore. I want to finish this story but between classes and my game crashing like it's going out of style is just hair pulling-ly frustrating! This week seems to be the week of everything going bad and not just my game. Anyways I don't know when I will update the story now. I just can not handle another crash screen on my PC :/

  1. I had that issue a couple weeks ago. a mod kept crashing. I had the right patch level. it used to work then stopped. other ppl said it crashed their game too. you should try a test vanilla folder game. no mods no cc, see how it does. hope u get it fixed.

    1. Thank you. Do you know which mod it was? I'd hate to remove more CC but it seems it's cc or my game :(

    1. No, not yet. I was reading something about it but it was late and I got frustrated lol. Do you have to look at one file at a time with dashboard? And no I don't download sims usually. I just remember downloading food items recently.

  3. Dashboard will show ur packages. custard shows the Sims 3 pack. It's very frustrating.

    1. Ohh I don't have custard so I'd have to download it. Thanks for your help :) I was able to finish the pictures last night. I opted for an alternative because of the crashing issues lol.

  4. My laptop will crash more often if I don't delete my cache files.
I hope this week is treating you better. :)

    1. I just tried that, fingers cross that the game runs smoothly when I load it up. I was able to play some last night but only for a few minutes because I didn't want to run into issues. I have enough to finish the chapter :)

  5. I meant to post when I saw you had computer issues, but I got sidetracked by RL and workstuff. Anyway, the quickest and easiest way to figure out why your game is crashing is running the crash log analyzer. You can find it here: http://modthesims.info/d/416883

Simply double click the exe file and the application will show what's causing the crash.

    Good luck!
